" ...We had a wonderful time at your villa! I must say, we were pleasantly surprised by the topnotch condition of the unit and how fully equipped it was. This was our second experience renting a vacation condo over the internet, (with the owner direct) and I will admit we were a bit nervous. The first experience we had was last March when we rented a condo in Maui for two weeks...the location was breathtaking, but the unit was in poor condition....not true with your unit!! "...I  have been wanting to e-mail you all week to tell you how great our vacation was, but I had so much work waiting for me when I returned! If we had gone anywhere else, I would be wondering if it was worth going on vacation and having to come back to all this, but since we spent our vacation at your condo in Captiva, I would definitely have to say it was WELL worth it! We really enjoyed it. Your place is beautiful and comfortable. Everything was great. One thing we did learn, however, is that one week is not enough! Next time we’ll have to go for two weeks. The day before we came home, we started trying to think of how we could move there permanently! In reality, we couldn’t, but it was great to think about it! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home with us....We had some time to kill before going to the airport on Saturday, so we checked out the flea market in Ft. Myers, and we were sorry that we hadn’t found it earlier in the week because we had barely an hour to explore it....we took the girls to the Everglades, had a great ride in an airboat, held some alligators, and really enjoyed ourselves.  To make a very long story much shorter, we absolutely loved our time in Captiva. "...Leaving Captiva was a difficult thing to do. It was our first time on the island, and our family fell in love with the laid back relaxed atmosphere found in this little slice of paradise. The accommodations were outstanding, far exceeding our expectations, and the natural beauty of the island is unmatched....We slept late most mornings, but were on the beach by ten; took naps most afternoons, but still had time for long walks along the beach, shelling, tennis, swimming, and sampling the delights of the many wonderful restaurants nearby....Our only complaint is that the week passed too fast. Our family agreed that Captiva will become one of our choice vacation destinations, and we hope to come back next year...Thanks for being such wonderful hosts. "Captiva Memories...Wake early, go shelling in your pajamas, breeze at your back, surf tickles your toes, breakfast of fresh coffee and banana pancakes. Prepare for the beach. Sunscreen, flip-flops and bathing suits, six chairs, two umbrellas, sun-goddesses hard at work. SPF 8, 15 or 30? Dip in the cool light blue ocean. Watch the school of rays from shore, the dolphins as they swim by. Buy a hot-dog and ice cream at Joey's snack boat. Take a walk down the beach. Cool off at the pool. Head upstairs for cocktails and cheese and crackers. Refreshed and sunburned, watch the magnificent sunset from the patio. Stroll to RC Otters for dinner. Champagne toast and acoustic guitar are a sweet ending to a typical day. Most of all, lose yourself, leave reality behind and cherish this precious place." "...We had a wonderful time at South Seas. The beach villa was great - a beautiful, accommodating place. It rained a bit the first three days, but we were able to get out in between raindrops. The remainder of the weather was quite nice. We saw an alligator in the pond in front of the villas and a manatee at the marina. We ate at several restaurants on Captiva/Sanibel as well as one in Fort Myers. I enjoyed the shelling and there were a lot of shells after the storms we had...Again, we had a wonderful time and thanks for letting us use your beautiful accommodations." L.M., Findlay, OH, USA

"...In April we took a family trip, two kids, four grandparents and uncles, aunts etc. to Captiva which I had been very familiar with since my youth. We rented a few units form Mark and Toni, and I cannot begin to tell you what a fabulous time we had. First off Captiva is one of the most special places on earth. It is beautiful, interesting, casual, and has some of the most stunning sunsets imaginable. The units we rented were perfect for us. Beautifully appointed and extremely convenient. Right on the beach with use of two pools, barbecues, etc. The beach is wonderful, and if you have kids they will love it. The small "village" of Captiva is a short drive or a short walk on the beach. We met lots of friendly families, and were also able to enjoy our family vacation without being overrun by people. Because of our busy kids, we didn't play golf, but did explore the "Ding" Darling refuge, and played lots of tennis on the courts immediately in front of the condo. All in all it was the perfect vacation, and we are already planning our return!!! You will really enjoy it." N.B., Toronto, Canada
