The beach was beautiful and the sunsets........well, there are no words to describe the sunsets. We truly felt like we were in paradise.  ...We can't wait to return. We will always be able to come back to the same spot that we were married at for our anniversaries. If you look out the balcony, we took the beach path to the right. Directly off of the path, on the beach,...is where the ceremony took place. ...Please keep us in mind for the same villa and the same

A Honeymoon Review: "...Captiva was simply wonderful! We got married (12/30/00) in a blizzard and woke up the next morning in the sun!.....The accommodations were great and the view beautiful. We enjoyed the various places we went to eat and we saw all the movies on the island....two!...We really enjoyed the mountains of shells and did quite well finding treasures. We also did get to see dolphins near the dock, where we also had luck catching fish. The nice laid back pace was exactly what we needed and it was a great week...We can't think of much we would have wanted to change...it was all great...Thanks again for sharing your part of paradise with us! "...This ranks as one of the best vacations we've ever had. When you consider that we watched the sunrise at our lakefront home on Sunrise Lane, then saw the sunset at your beachfront home on Sunset Beach, what else can a person ask for? The condo, location and amenities were perfect! The Green Flash, Mucky Duck and Sunshine Cafe were all great recommendations. The 'Ding' Darling refuge was fantastic as were the dolphin cruise and the Useppa cruise (dolphins in groups of 4 followed us most of the way). On Thursday 2 Osprey started their nest on the perch outside the condo. Each night, we took pictures of the sunset but on Friday, we had the pleasure of dolphins playing in the sunset. "...What a great setting! South Seas Plantation is so beautiful, and your condo was very comfortable, with lots of "special touches." The view from the patio was amazing - especially the sunsets! We biked around the Darling reserve in the middle of the day…got to see many of the birds that inhabit the sanctuary. " We are from NJ, we live near the beach, so we love being around the water, we did lots of fishing, but the best thing was jet skiing in the Gulf and having the dolphin swim around us.
